Startech has announced a new styling and performance package for the facelifted Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK).
This particular Overland model is outfitted with a new front spoiler (with LED daytime running lights), a revised rear apron, and attractive side sills with integrated LED lighting. Other touches include a stainless-steel sport exhaust system, a suspension lowering kit (reduces ride height by 30mm / 1.2 inches), and 22-inch Monostar IV wheels equipped with Pirelli Scorpion tires.
Inside, Startech offers a vast array of accessories including everything “from a speedometer bezel with brushed aluminum design to aluminum pedals and door-lock pins to polished stainless-steel scuff plates with (an) illuminated Startech logo.” Customers can also order a customized interior with leather and alcantara upholstery.
If you think the 3.0-liter CRD engine could use a performance boost, you might want to check out Startech’s SD6 tuning kit. It enables the turbodiesel engine to produce 262 hp (259 bhp) and 580 Nm (427 lb-ft) of torque, instead of 218 hp (214 bhp) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque.
As you may recall, the facelifted Jeep Grand Cherokee was introduced in 2007 and the redesigned 2011 model goes on sale next year.
